Service Charges

The same service charges that are used on Aztec POS terminals can also be used within guest ordering, additional rules and settings are configured to meet the needs to of the organisation.

Adding Service Charges

Follow these steps to add a service charges:

  1. Click Service Charges

  2. Click Create Service Charge

  3. Enter Name | Friendly Name (the name shown to guests)

  4. Select the Active toggle to turn the charge on / off

  5. Select the Tax Rule from the drop down

    Service charge tax rules must be setup in Aztec to be able to select from this drop down
    A specific Aztec tax rule can only be applied once to a basket at a time, it is not possible to set up service charge rules which conflict with another rule
  6. Set the required Ordering Modes that the service charge will apply for

  7. Select the Compulsory toggle to set if the charge is always compulsory and cannot be removed

  8. Enter Phrase (optional) shown to guests for the service charge

  9. Set the required Platforms that the service charge will apply for

  10. Select either a site Group or click the Sites tab and select individual Sites and Sales Areas applicable for the service charge

  11. Click Save Changes
